Contestadora IA agents are automated artificial intelligence systems, not human beings. We believe callers deserve to know when they are talking to a machine, and we build the product so they can.
The agent identifies itself as AI
Every agent is designed to answer honestly. If a caller asks whether they are talking to a robot, an AI, or a real person, the agent confirms that it is an automated virtual assistant. This behavior ships in the base instructions of every agent we deploy.
California's B.O.T. Act
California's B.O.T. Act (Business & Professions Code 17940-17943) prohibits using an undisclosed bot to incentivize a purchase or influence a vote. Our agents identify themselves as automated assistants proactively: every new agent's greeting includes an AI notice by default, and the agent also confirms it is an AI whenever a caller asks.
Our commitment
We do not build agents that pretend to be people. You may not configure your agent to claim it is human or to deny being automated, and we may suspend accounts that try — see the acceptable use section of our terms of service. AI agents also have limits: they can mishear, misunderstand, or make mistakes — the recording and transcript of every call stay available in your dashboard so you can review and follow up.
